The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Christmas Campaign- As you may know, each year at Christmas time we have kettles out at various stores around Sarnia where people who pass by are able to donate money. All of this money goes towards our year round Family Services and Food Bank.

Today, I am reaching out to see if your church would be interesting in participating. Last year, we raised over $132,000 for our community. It would be great if you were able to “adopt a day”, or even a morning/afternoon/evening if that works better. With adopting a time slot, we would be able to print up a sign advertising that your church is serving at that kettle. It is a great way to get your church’s name out into the public while giving back to the community at Christmas.

If adopting a day is not something you are interested in but you know someone else who might be interested, please feel free to pass along my contact number (226-349-5219). We would really appreciate it if you were able to post this volunteer opportunity your weekly bulletin. We are always looking for volunteers who would be willing to stand/sit at a kettle for a 2hr shifts.

Thank you for consideration in supporting our campaign
